Hi, Tom:

I have old service instructions for rebuilding Carter AFBs that include an 
exploded view of the carburator and a parts list. Specifications for the both 
the 2798 (front) and 2799 (rear) can be found in the service bulletin that 
covers the data and specifications of the 300E. Please let me know if you would 
like copies and I'll gladly send them to you. 

Some time ago I rebuilt both carbs with Carter Zip Kit 902-103A. To me, the same 
kit worked for both carbs. Although Carter no longer exists, this kit and 
similar kits may still be available. One source may be Promax Carbs and 
Performance Parts, 1-866-PRO2MAX, www.promaxcarbs.com  Also check the list of 
suppliers on the club website.

Good Afternoon To Everyone Out There In 300Land!

Does anyone have a good diagram (or know where to find one) of an AFB 
Carter 4 bbl??? Specifically, the front carburetor for the 1959 300E - I think 
it is the model 2798 or 2799. I'm in the process of taking apart and 
cleaning one of these!
