George - Near the end of the Letter Series cars, the K & L, items that had been standard, like the biggest brakes and HD suspension, became options, or just unavailable - thus you see many K & Ls without leather, most Ks and all Ls with single 4 barrel carburetors, etc. I'm sure Don can answer your L-specific questions - I just speak 300-Ks, and a little 300-D. What is the difference between heavy duty (HD) brakes/suspension and the standard "L" brakes/suspension and how can I tell which I have? I was under the impression that all letter cars had HD everything. 300 regards...George in San Diego ---- Don Warnaar <300country@xxxxxxx> wrote: > When I ordered my 300L and went through the option list, the heavy duty brakes and suspension was a $35 option.
