I would not trust the engine stand to support the whole thing with the bell housing attached...those stands are for the engine only...remember that these engines are at least 700lbs alone...the bell housing adds length and thus leverage to the machine(which is against you)- could cause a failure of the attaching bolts and consequently a pulverized foot!! Now, I have an engine stand looking stout enough for a sbc but wonder about this healthy 413. Never having used one before, do I just bolt the stand's rotator piece to the four bolt holes at the back of the bell housing and then connect to the rolling platform? It looks OK if the bell housing was not there but it is. This how it works? jettlarry@xxxxxxx Larry Jett 510-794 7911 Newark CA [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo!
