RE: [Chrysler300] 1962 300H engine

I must say that I saw that engine about 10 years ago, it is located about 20 miles from me, it was in fact in a 300H, the car was totaled and subsequently all the H specific parts( interior etc...) were “transferred” to a 62 300 Sport!

The receiver  car was also into some accidents, was very rusty and is now in the province of Quebec...but the original 300H engine stayed with the guy that had the car... 

When I saw it, it was pretty complete, the carbs, intake and air cleaners( kinda rusty under a cheap chrome job) were there. 

I thought the engine block was not that great, I think it lacked proper storage and so that block had heavy rust in some cylinders, heads were off it when I saw it.

I have no interest in that engine...some sellers may not give the potential buyer the complete story ...block may not be what you expect , but the 2x4 set up is probably o.k.

If anybody is interested in the engine, and want me to go take a look at it, just let me know, I will be glad to assist.

 Hello group,
I found the following ad on KIJIJI New Brunswick, Bathurst Ad # 367650798. It states that this engine was taken out of a "1962 G", but after I enquired about it he told me that it was inline carbs, thus I assume it's a 62 H engine. Engine is supposed to be complete and original. Asking price is $1500. Submitted for you info. Charlie in Ottawa
