Do you have a 300E that is missing its original engine or transmission? Or do you just need a 59 Chrysler for parts? If so, this may be the car for you. I have a close friend in Illinois with a 1959 New Yorker 4 door sedan (note: it is a sedan not a hardtop). Same owner last 24 years and I owned it before him. The car is highland green with two tone green broadcloth interior. It has been garaged for at least the last 26 years. It has its factory original drivetrain with a potent 413 and cast iron torqueflite. I think it only has about 100,000 miles from new. This car had many new mechanical parts and was used as a daily fair weather driver for much of the 1990's. It was put in storage when the driver's seat mounting broke and has not been run for at least a few years. The car has an intact original interior (good steering wheel, dash components) and is complete except for missing one wheelcover. It currently has a later 1960's model Chrysler air cleaner but the original is available. The car also comes with an extra rear bumper that is straight, rust free and ready for rechroming. The car has minor front end damage (bent bumper, grille, hood and broken hood ornament). There is minor left side damage (dented LR door and misc. damaged/missing stainless trim). Being a Chicago car all its life, it has its share of lower body rust. It could be restored I suppose, but the effort relative to the value on sedans makes it unpractical. It does not have A/C or power windows. It does have tinted glass all windows (original and in good shape) and factory power swivel front seat. I believe the swivel front seat frame can be used in an F or G as well. The car must be trailered or towed and it is located in Batavia, IL. The car comes out of storage on June 8 and must be sold before the end of June. Sorry, I do not have a current picture of the car. It is priced for a quick sale - asking $600 or best offer. Do not hesitate to make the owner an offer - the car must be sold or the owner will have no choice but to send it to the crusher!
