Yes Bill, the 65 has the mirrors on the doors but the one that I acquired a few years ago as a new reproduction will not let me see the back properly but rather looks up at the sky and towards the sidewalk or ditch.

  Don't the '65s have the mirrors on the doors? My 70 does, as do my 
  late 60's B bodies. I didn't find a problem with the door mirrors as 
  regards seeing behind, wish they were remote control though. It was 
  the fender mirrors on the 57-58s that I can't see out of.
