Yes, John Hertog did have that red convert. It was a G and he re-installed the fins. He loaned me the car to use at my wedding, while I loaned my in-laws my F...The story I heard was that a dentist(if I recall correctly) owned that G before him and had the fins removed instead of buying a new car- so he restyled it, so to speak...That G was pretty much factory otherwise, except for an extra set of carpet protectors installed behind the front seats...I believe he(John H.) said that the drive train was never out of the car and always fired up...
