I need a little help verifying which the routing of the heater hose for the 413 engine, without a/c. The TSM doesn't show it. I've looked through dozens of photos of club member's engine bays and I see a lot of inconsistencies: some go one way, some go another. Here goes. On the heater box on the firewall there are four hose connections. Two of them get connected together with a one-foot piece of hose. The remaining two get connected to the two nipples on the water pump housing. Here is pic of the top of a water pump housing. http://tinyurl.com/86re98p OK, the photo is actually of a later 440 housing, but the hose routing is identical. The question is, which which connection on the heater box goes to which connection on the water pump? Passenger side of heater box to water pump nipple closest to fan blades? I'd especially like to hear from someone who can tell me which side is the inlet and which is the outlet of both the water pump and heater box.
