Hi Larry,

Packards and T-Birds have their own set of issues. First of all, do YOU have a beverage?

Next, is the old shock collapsed so you can pull it out the other way?

If the answer is "no" to both of these questions, then I would change your approach.

I would be willing to write and pictureate an "how to" except I don't know how to get the fat oem shock out the smaller hole on the bottom of the shock suspension. The KYB looks to be a smaller diameter and should present less trouble getting it back in. I am all greasy and thinking about changing to love of Packards or T-Birds. Somebody help me quickly to prevent such a tragedy.
