I think I have posted this before a while ago, but here is summary. POR's tank sealer for rusty gas tank I found great. But POR's products for frames etc I found lacking - back then they did not stress how just one coat was likely no good for preventing even rust on fully sandblasted 100% rust free metal, frames, etc, nor did they mention if you apply it as heavy as most other enamels, it can pinhole. And I had issues with it just not sticking, which they said was because I had prepared the surface too well, too rust free ??! Yet in decades of other paint brand use, I never had such problems ??!! AND DO NOT SPRAY IT UNLESS YOU REAL CAREFUL AND HAVE HIGHEST QUALITY REPIRATOR, MASK, ALL OTHER BODY COVERINGS - I WOULD SAY IT WAY MORE DANGEROUS THAN ANY TWO PACK PAINTS - you will get cramps at your knees, real bad headache, sore red eyes, real bad chest pain complaints starting about 6 hours after spraying. And the final insult I found after great care for poor outcomes - brake fluid washes it off like it some nasty cheapest other paint. None of this is anything personal against the product other than personal experience, but I know many other professional painters/restorers who say they would never use it ever again because of near similar outcomes. Esteemed Colleagues, As the exhaust is currently off my 300L convt and awaiting replacement, I'm going to use the opportunity to personally undercoat the car. Going with POR-15 although it's going to be terribly messy LOL Which closer is closer to the factory look as the car left the factory -- gloss black, semi-gloss black, silver or gray? While the job will undoubtedly be a messy one, I'm sure it'll be worth it!
