A couple of comments on the D used in Quiz Show. At the time the move was done the owner was Tom Turner but I believe Gary Goers previously owned and restored the car. You will note when the person gets in the car showing the ignition switch is turned to start the car. I believe the '58 was like the '57 in that one pushed the neutral button when the ignition was turned on to start the car. If I'm correct on this my guess is it was shown that way not to confuse the general viewing audience as not everyone knew how Chrysler products worked back in the day.
