Well, hello to all in 300sville again! First off, my apalogies for lack of listserver activity (just because my G is 'down' or out of commission)! Yes, I finally have a transmission that is A okay! Thanks again to George Verberkmoss for suggesting Valley Transmissions in El Cajon, California. 
 Right now I am awaiting a front drum and spindle from Jeff Carter because when suddenly turning wheel to right back from left over 25 mph., the top of my current drum 'scuffs' the side of my brake shoes. The spindle where the bearings ride are 'gouged out', causing excessive play and then the scuff. I got to run but I'll keep you all posted on Melissa's latest. Bye for now!!
