On the '61, the hood pad is held in place with clips, not adhesive.  I got
to believe the '60 would be the same way.  Look at the underside of the hood
for holes to accommodate the clips.  I can send you a picture of my '61 pad
clips if you need it.

I have had no luck finding an adhesive that will keep the hood pad in place.
I've tried contact cement and 3M Super 77 spray adhesive -- with no luck at
either of them holding. 

Any suggestions from those who have been successful at this?

Mike Reed in Hastings, Michigan with the "F" bundled up and hibernating for
the winter.
