Bob and I are very sad to hear this news.  Bob and Sam were really good friends.  We are going to miss him so much.  Sam had a wealth of knowledge he willingly shared and before his illness he would roll his sleeves up and help repair a wounded 300 so it could make the trip home from the Meet.

Sam was a valiant fighter for a very long time. We really enjoyed our time
with him at the Golden meet last fall. Sam was one of those special people
you meet. He loved his 300Cs and his club. We're going to miss him.

For those of us who saw him at 300 meets, we can't help but thank his
wonderful driver, Bill Woodman.
