RE: [Chrysler300] Heater Core

Fred,

Your best bet is to take the core to a reputable radiator shop, they will be
able to re-core your unit for a reasonable cost and keep the original fit
and parts in use. That's what I did on my 300G years ago. Do make sure
though, that it is the core and not the temperature control valve, as they
will leak also. If the leaking is occurring from under the dash and making
the carpet wet on the passenger side, it may be the valve. They also can be
rebuilt, there are services for that and kits you can buy to do it yourself
if you want.

Subject: [Chrysler300] Heater Core

Hello Group,

My heater core is leaking in my 1960 300F. Can these cores be repaired or
must they be replaced. If it has to be replaced, any sources for this part
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Fred Grossi
