There should be a three digit number on one of the flat surface ends of each 
bar. May be hard to read, so wire brush to remove any oil, dirt, etc. This 
is the end that faces the rear of the car.

I *believe* that the three digit number corresponds with the last three 
digits of the part number. The odd number is the one on the driver's side; 
the even number is on the passenger side.
