I'll vote for the "oh wow" factor from a functioning OEM system
Or even if it don't function for that matter, as long as all the correct
parts are there.
I'm surprised by the number of folks that are amazed that these cars had
factory A/C to begin with.

There is another factor in the Plus side of making this conversion.
Your Old Chrysler A/C compressor is a big obstruction when looking under the
hood.  The new Sanden is a smaller unit, and the 'Oh Wow'
factor for others when you open the hood is not intruded on by the smaller
unit.  This was readily apparent at one of the Meets when someone drove
their 300C from far away with the A/C system modified with a modern
compressor and a Thermo-quad on it instead of the 2x4 induction.
