Last year I had a front end alignment on my 1962 300 Sport Convertible. I was told I needed a new center link / drag link. I went home and got one I pulled off of a 1962 Dodge 880 about 2 years earlier. they tried to install it but it was just a little different. I called Kanter , told them what I need for what car and they said they have them. The car was on the lift so I drove to them right away. They came out with one just like the one that didn't fit that I pulled off of the Dodge 880. Luckily I took the one that came off the car with me to compare. The guy went back and came back with the right one. I did some part number research and found the following. Chrysler part Number 1672980 is for the following : 1959 and 1960 Saratoga and New Yorker, didn't mention 300 1961 New Yorker and 300 1962 New Yorker w/ P.S. Part Number 2208086 is for : 1959 and 1960 Windsor 1961 Newport and Windsor 1962 Newport and 300 with or w/out P.S. 1962 to 1964 Dodge 880 1963 Chrysler...All with or w/out P.S. 1964 Chrysler This came from the parts book so I am not quite sure why the link from the 1962 Dodge 880 didn't match the one off of my 62 300 Sport Convertible. If you can find one locally, best bet is to take the old one with you to be sure it's the same. Good luck, have a nice day and Happy 300'ing !!!! If you buy at your local parts dealer, (NAPA, and such) make sure you don't get the cheap brand they usually sell. They often carry a cheap Chinese brand for the local shops trying to keep their prices down. Ask for their better brand like MOOG or some other mfg. you are familiar with.
