I have a 4-post lift that I purchased about a year ago. It is a Quality brand 9000lb lift.  I looked at many different ones and found this one was much stronger than many of the other ones on the market, it was more expensive, about $3000. There are others with the same weight rating for less money but the thickness of the steel and the size of the cables, and the size of the columns is less. Two posts lifts are not good for storage of vehicles. I am happy with my selection after many hours researching different brands on the internet.

I'm starting to explore the possibility of purchasing at least one Auto Stacker.   Living in SoCal I think a four post would be the safest due to earthquakes.
 
Any input as to brands, models, cost, places to purchase would be most appreciated.
