[Chrysler300] I need a lift

Or, rather, the valves in the 390 HP ram-inducted engine in my 1964 Chrysler
300K convertible need a lift.

Inspection of the engine from my parts car showed the camshaft lobes to be
severely pitted, requiring action. Maybe it was the low-zinc oil?? Anyhow,
it seems the pitting is deeper than can be eliminated by a light grind and
this seems to leave me several options, including:

1. Polish the lobes and run it.

2. Obtain an NOS/OEM camshaft for the engine

3. Obtain a new or used camshaft with a similar or better grind

4. Metalize the existing lobes and grind them to original spec

5. Other?

I would appreciate your thoughts and ideas on these and other
options-especially if you have an extra proper cam you would part with. I
do happen to have a large engineering drawing of the cam measurements and
profiles. Some of the tappets show some wear so I will replace them, also.

Due to wear and taper, I will also need new pistons-which seem to be
available. Any thoughts on best available technology/brand/source of
pistons and rings would also be appreciated. Reduce piston height or dish
the top to slightly reduce compression ratio?
