Hello 300’ly to all?
    For a 126” wheelbase vehicle the front leg room in my C has much to be desired.  That is with power seats moved all the way back with a slight tilt in the front.  At 6’ and a long distance runner I can attest that I have felt like I needed chiropractic attention (eh Cunnighams?) or a massage after driving on a 80 mile expressway trip.  Of course I didn’t really pay attention to it until in traffic since I was too distracted not letting Honda Accords or worse yet Civics pass me at the 75 mph speed limit in Oklahoma! T’is a 300C Ya know!  It is markedly improved since I had the new Legendary Seat Covers and padding installed.  The covers that were on the car when I bought it were over stuffed which I feel gave me at least 2” less leg room!  Keep in mind that the leg room in the 126” wheelbase Chrysler Corporation cars for ‘57 and ‘58 is the same as the 122” vehicles.  The firewall forward frame is lengthened with no change in passenger compartment ergonomics.  Most of my driving Mopsy is less than 40 miles at a time and for the short trips I have no aches or pains....yet.  No matter, upon getting out of the C where ever it is driven just to look at it makes me feel no pain.  Truly Eye Candy or another analogy is like dating a high maintenance beautiful woman. Does anyone else find the seat position in their Letter Car (particularly the '57 C)to be uncomfortable for long rides? I don't have a power seat in my C, so that may be at least part of the problem, but I doubt that's it entirely.

I'm not that much above average height, but I wish my seat was tilted back a bit, sat just a little higher, and traveled a couple of inches further back. As it is, I get virtually no thigh support as my knees are up in the air when my seat is adjusted all the way back.

I have designed a pair of mount adapters to reposition the seat in a way that I think will likely be very helpful, but I wonder if someone else already has developed a fix. I haven't yet machined them, but just before I do, I thought I'd better ask first. I certainly don't want to be reinventing the wheel.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the factory positioning? Is this a manual seat issue only? Has it been previously addressed? Are other years a problem too?
