Some years ago while attending a 300 meet we spent some time with club members and great friends Bill and Marilyn Allen who lived in Georgia at the time. One day we drove to Chattanooga and on the way with directions provided by Bill we stopped at Mitchel. It was an uncomfortable feeling as the only thing I could think of was the movie Deliverance while driving up those back roads. Anyway we arrived and I had my list but they were not able to come up with one item. Years later I spoke with someone there about chrome pieces for our '53 Imperial Newport. A front grill assembly was 5K which I thought a bit much. So the reality is I've never purchased from them but have heard more negative than positive. I ordered a part and it never shipped. When I called he would say he could not remember where the part was in his monster warehouse. I finally cancelled and I asked for a refund. I am sure the only reason I got refund is I used PayPal. I would not trust him unless you walk up to his sales counter and touch the part. He told me that he had an nos original solid lift camshaft for my car. It took him weeks to ship it even though he had my money up front. He wouldn't return phone calls so I finally called him and said to cancel the deal as I was going to get an aftermarket modern camshaft but he refused to refund my money even though he hadn't shipped it yet. When the cam shaft arrived, it obviously had some rust on the lobes and one could see where he attempted to fix it by polishing the camshaft which is something that you can't do unless one is to reblue the camshaft afterwards. With that experience, I wouldn't recommend his services to anybody. Also, I've watched some of his listings on epay and his prices are outrageously sky high so one must be destitute to have to deal with him. Just my 2 cents worth.
