Years ago, one of the car magazines had an article written by a man who got to drive one in order to get impressions for the article. With him behnd the wheel, and the owner giving instructions:

Owner: Now that the exhaust temperature is to standard, pull it into gear.

Driver/writer:  (Hmm. Idle speed is at 25,000 rpm and he says "pull it into  gear?". Well, this baby's really going to jerk!!)
