Hi, Here are some partial answers: Re center gear removal: http://www.chrysler300club.com/tech/f-hubcap/hubcapmain.html Re butterfly clips: Next to impossible but Murray Pary might be able to help: mbpark@xxxxxxxxxxx Tony Rinaldi From: s beard <sbeard2@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, Jul 6, 13 Sat, Jul 6 - 11:16 AM To: Chrysler 300 Club <Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [Chrysler300] Misc. ?'s Good Saturday 300 ites. Have several questions about "New Christine" -my back at home 300F, it just got out of the body shop after a year. As I start putting her back together, I will need some good advice on many fronts but for now just a few questions. Had the generator rebuilt and ready to install new battery. NAPA guy mentioned I needed to polarize the generator and gave me instructions to do so. Thoughts? Is there a secret to removing the center gear off the hubcaps. I remove the 3 screws on the back but the center does not separate from the hubcap. What is keeping the 2 pieces attached. What is the best way to attach the butterfly clips that hold the rubber shield that goes over the radiator? When I get new rubber shield from Gary Goers, he sent staples to attach new rubber shield to old metal frame. What is the secret to stapling new rubber to frame, All the staple guns I have can't put a staple through the steel frame? Enough for now.
