[Chrysler300] Re: Continuing on on non (oil pressure)

Larry: Years ago, when I was in high school, I bought a '55 Dodge Custom Royal with a 270 CID Hemi for $300.  The reason I was able to get it for that price was because the bearings were knocking very badly but the car itself was in great shape, no rust, no interior damage, new paint, etc.  My Dad and I towed it home from the auto auction and put it on his lift, took the oil pan off and found the problem.  The pickup screen was clogged with pieces of paper and it wouldn't pick up any oil.  Cleaned the screen, installed a new crank and bearings from the bottom of the engine and put it all back together...ran great for the next two years while I owned it.  I sold it to get a more economical car to drive to college.  Not sure how all that paper got into the oil pan but it did.  Could be your problem, too.
