Re: [Chrysler300] Steering Wheel Restoration, 1962

Dennis just shipped back a 58 300D  steering wheel to me.  Superb    Be sure and visit his web page.. Look up your wheel to see his work on your specific application.  No guessing on what you will get. http://qualityrestorations.com/  .He takes about 3 months for delivery and cashes your check when he receives it and your wheel.  I first met him at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale where he had a booth.  He gets a lot of business for a reason. You should leave the ring and copper plate on the wheel as he cleans that up and reinstalls it.    Marv

I would recommend Dennis Crook from Quality Wheel Restorations. He's not cheap but does an excellent job with guarantee that the wheel will not crack. He did the one on my 300H conv and I am very happy with the results. The only complaint that I would have is that he will even put in the flaws that the factory did so if you don't want him to do that, then just make sure that you tell him to delete those.

Time to restore a half clear / half color steering wheel for 1962.
This one if for the New Yorker Station Wagon and next will be the 300H.
Who likes what company to do the expensive restoration?

Thanks!
Matt Allyn
