Here's another idea. I did a do it your self repair of a '56 motor mount. Made a form out of plywood, lined it with a poly bag. Used a two part urethane and poured it in (let the top open). After it cured out the poly bag peeled right off. It looks great, good adhesion to the steel. Haven't installed it yet so we'll see.
