Yanno, sometimes its a case of nobody at the auction having much interest
in the car. If you only have one or two bidders, and neither is a 300 nut,
and the seller doesn't use a reserve, the car isn't going to go for top
dollar. I have seen some letter cars go for what I would consider peanuts
at the annual Atlantic City auction, because nobody there knew what they were,
or didn't care. Unfortunately, at the time, I couldn't buy
them.
