Hello, There have been some discussions in the past about using
heat-shrinkable tubing to seal leaking transmission shift cables and
speedometer cables. Some ads show dual wall. Shrink ratios available are 2:1,
3:1, 4:1. Size range from 3/64 – 2” diameter. What would be the correct size and shrink ratio for both the
speedo and shift cables? Is dual wall the best or will single wall do the job? I assume black is the color of choice.
