I have seen gray pedals in earlier 56 Imps and some 57-60 New Yorker's. I am speaking of the period when they were new. I do not think the ladies liked them because they showed dirt......! Shortly there after, they used chrome accents on black. Never saw any but black in the 300's.

Matt,

I've looked at a few pictures in books and online, and it appears as though 1960-62 used black pedals. I don't ever recall seeing one with gray pedals, perhaps the gray ones were on earlier cars.
