Hi Terry , Did not mean to drop out , will be back with more info during the week . We will have aluminum broze CNC gears to sell within 10 days or so . J-y has a lot of personal pressure no time to do rebuild , we might do it . But gears will be there. We do not know interchanges , but do know 60 61 are target years. I do belive 57-58 to be different . But not sure . Someone chime in? This replaces nylon edged metal gear . 60-61 for sure , probably 62? Gear retention tricky , i believe pressed on and then end swaged over, pressing out old one lifts swage ok , ready for new one ; why some skill needed to redo it right . Someone posted about wiring ; this might change but I believe 60 and 61 use two fields + 12 to each, one at a time gives R & L for direction; center is in fact grounded ...the ground goes through the circuit breaker in motor end you can see it . Other years might have DPDT reversing swiches. With No grounds . This info is on specific car wiring diagrams . Not knowing can lead to incorrect diagnosis of good units. Someone mentioned lubing tracks , but often the problem is the nylon wheel is dragging or flat sided and not turning on its axle . J-y has those wheels also cnc .
