Putting the speedo /gauge cluster back together after having them serviced. Did a pretty good job of tagging all leads to where they go. One I forgot and can’t identify on the wiring diagram in the service manual. Since my pride is overshadowed by the cost of fixes in this area I’ll ask a stupid question There is the sheet metal piece that goes over the bottom of the speedo face. This piece has the two cutouts for the turn signal lights over the cardboard tubes with the green lenses. This metal piece has a short white lead with a ring connector. I imagine this is a ground lead for grounding this piece. However I don’t feel like frying anything in the gauge cluster so I’d appreciate if someone could confirm this is a general vehicle ground wire as opposed to some other lead and if possible where this wire attaches.
