No spark on only 1 plug wire could be a bad wire, but "no start" and "backfires" suggest that you have a bad distributor cap.  The spark might be short circuited to the wrong cylinder.

Good afternoon 300 Guys and Gals,

 

About a month ago, I drove my 300F into the barn. Ran pretty good and was starting all the time all summer, Went out a few days later and it would not start, fired a few times but would not run and a few backfires. Changed plugs, new fuel filter, new coil,  and regapped the points. Now it looks like I am getting no spark on #1 plug wire. Engine will crank but no firing is happening.

 

Any thoughts will be appreciated.
