Check with your insurance provider. My insurance would only cover ALI and one other certification. Make sure your insurance, also covers damage caused by failing lift. Shop, tools, other vehicles and your home.

wishing everyone a Happy thanksgiving.
Was wondering if anyone has an opinion on the importance of ALI (Automotive Lift Institute) certification for a residential use car lift? Direct-Lift has this but at a show recently I saw a lift from Advantage Lifts (out of MN) which looked interesting with a more solid-looking build, but not with any certification. Has anyone ever heard of this company?
