[Chrysler300] Oil Pump

Hello, everyone:

I need a new oil pump for E #292 and noticed in the parts manual high performance engines for 1959 have a separate number: 2120-878. My guess the engines need a pump that produced a higher volume of oil. The Service Bulletin for the E does not mention a higher-volume pump.

Melling offers a pump that delivers 20 to 25% greater oil volume. would this be an acceptable substitute for the original? Any direction on this would be greatly appreciated.
