Re: [Chrysler300] Proper floor mat source

Hi Hugh,

This worked really well for my C, and ought to do the job on your K and '66. I got my hands on some marine-grade rubber-backed black cut-pile carpet. Then I made cardboard templates of the exact shape I wanted each of the mats to be. I took the whole works down to an upholsterer, and had them cut the carpet to the template shapes and sew black edge binding on them.

I think the front and rear together added up to roughly $150 all-in if I recall correctly. Not cheap, but they look great and work perfectly. If you have trouble finding the black marine carpet, let me know and I believe I can get it for you.

Looking for factory-style, high-quality floor mats for both my 300K and my ’66 NY.  I need to protect my original carpets better than I have been.  Any recommendations?  Thank you-
