And, the ’59 Parts Manual (viewable in section 10-05-19 of the manual at John Holst’s most excellent website: www.jholst.net ) say’s it’s good for ’59 Chrysler & Imperial, also. Click on Chrysler 300 resources for all the parts and service manuals and lots of other good info. And the pages never get dog-eared, torn or oil or bloodstained. Rich From: Rich Barber [mailto:c300@xxxxxxx] Al: I hope the rupture did not make too big of a mess and occurred outside the fire wall. I know I have one “somewhere” that I bought new as a spare for my ‘55. The ’55-’58 parts manual says that part fits ’55 Plymouth, ’55-’56 De Soto and ’55-’58 Chrysler. I recall I was surprised to find the rubber hose to be wrapped in steel braid which gives a different appearance than the original which I believe is black rubber exterior. If you don’t get a better deal, let me know and I’ll start digging for it. 300K’ly Rich Barber, P.E. Brentwood, CA From: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Albert Vannice mavche@xxxxxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] Hello Group, Among my other searches, I now find that the engine to oil gauge hose on my E has ruptured, and I need a replacement (part # 1313643). If anyone out there has one by chance or has a lead on one, I would appreciate the information. I am currently contacting all the MOPAR parts suppliers that I am aware of in the hope of finding one.
