For those of us looking for tires for our K"s, we need narrow whitewall 225/75/14 radials, not 235's. I've been keeping in touch with Diamondback over the past year. First our tires were going to be available this spring, but now they are scheduled for sometime in the fall. Ugh! I'm still planning to drive my K to the big PA meet, but slowly and with a new non-matching spare!Rick EhrmannOn 04/20/15, Keith Boonstra kboonstra@xxxxxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300]<Chrysler300-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:Gloria,Would you please send an invitation to join our club to Bill Chapman of Diamond Back? His email address is bill@xxxxxxxxxxx. He would also like to join the forum so he can address us directly.I just spoke to him and got an update of the situation. The political upheaval in Thailand of a year or so ago upset the arrangements Bill had in place to produce the 14" big tire. He says things have all calmed down again and his supplier producing in large quantities - just not the ones we want.He says he will contact his rep over there today and try to get some news for us. What will help is that we are not alone in needing this size. There are Lincolns, Buicks, and Cadillacs out there sharing our problem.I wouldn't give it much of a chance, but Bill says it's even "possible" he could have some tires for us yet this summer. In the meantime don't run your Cokers too fast on the expressway.Keith BoonstraOn Mon, Apr 20, 2015 at 10:14 AM, 'Gloria Moon' agmoon@xxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] <Chrysler300-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Has anybody talked to Diamondback lately or even heard anything more about that ~900 x 14" with ~ 2 1/4 " ww radial? tire that has been "in the works" for so long?----- Original Message -----Sent: Sunday, April 19, 2015 7:13 PMSubject: Re: [Chrysler300] p235/75r14 tiresAs far as I know that is correct - largest "production" tires are still P215/75R14 narrow whitewall.
