I think the ultimate answer for freeze plugs on the 392 hemi are these two-piece stainless steel ones with a rubber o-ring seal and an inner "T-bar" locking system. These plugs are easy to install since you don't have to pound them in with limited access and off-axis impact. The mechanical hold-in method precludes them popping out entirely. http://www.hothemiheads.com/main_caps/freeze_plugs_stainless.htmlk If the link does not work for you, go to hothemiheads.com and look up part # 21040 (The owner, Bob Walker, is VERY knowledgeable, friendly and cooperative) Ray Melton 1957 Chrysler 300C convertible white/Gauguin Las Cruces, NM On 5/29/2015 9:31 PM, Ray Jones 1970hurst@xxxxxxxxx
