Hi Fern, I just read the 300 Club postings. Matt Allyn is right that you need to reline the shoes. I was originally thinking that they were in the rear brakes. Now I know that a 300H is the same as my 300C. I replaced ours about 40 years ago when they were available at part houses. They may still be obtainable from NAPA at their central supply centers. I use a brake shop, here in Long Beach, CA that has the material and the machinery to do it all. Let me know if you need their information or if you need to ship me parts and i will go to them for the job. They have done brake work for me for everything from my '32 Ford (now with '40 Lincoln brakes) to my '49 Harley to our '49 Mercury to our '57 Lincoln to our '62 300 & '62 New Yorker to our '64 International.

Unfortunately that stuff is not available from local auto parts store out here in BC. What is the best source to get those in the USA? Fern __._,_.___ Posted by: "John L.
