Thanks for the follow up response to my questions on the thermostat for the Ram manifolds. I hope John may have a good substitute or "New" units in his stock? I hope that the "Long" Long ram and the "Short" Long Ram thermostat's are the same? I have both styles of manifolds. Also, what about the manifold pipes from below the carburetor, to the exhaust manifolds, I have the long exhaust manifolds for the "K", they are much different than the earlier log style. can those heat tubes for the "K" exhaust manifolds be purchased? if so, where? Again, thanks in advance!

Hello Stephen;

The choke wells came from Jean-Yves Chouinard from
way up in Canada, New Brunswick. It was a joint effort
with John Grady of CT. John is now handling the choke wells.
John's email is jkg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Maybe he can help with the chokes.

Years ago George Riehl had a batch made, but
they are long gone and since then I know of
no others being made.

I have never looked into
these so I don't know if a substitute can be
modified to fit.

If you find a solution, I'd like to hear about it.

Bob,
A year or two ago, I purchased the gaskets for the choke pots from you, and the choke wells for the Ram from a "French" named fellow in Canada (or so I recall?). Anyway, my question to all, are the "Chokes" that are required for the Ram manifolds still available? If so where? and what part number? Is there a unit that will work? Maybe from a different year? Can anyone help? Or at least suggest a solution, or substitute unit. Thanks to all in advance.
