Michael, does your speedometer show the distance travelled correctly
against a marked mile? If that is correct, then you’re correct that your speedo
needs calibration.

My "F" has the proper gear for the rear axle ratio of
the car, but reads 12 mph slow at highway speeds. It has been off that far since
I obtained the car in 1979. I always attributed it to the speedometer being out
of calibration........
