Sounds like it’s going well for you. You have about 475 miles to go, should put you here around lunch time tomorrow. There’s a great restaurant across the street from the motel, called Starlite Diner. Best food in the Lehigh Valley. Tony and I will be at the Holiday Inn before noon. Have a safe trip.

On the road about 5:20 this AM

Gotten a lot of “thumbs up” along the way, but to date have not seen another 300

A/C kept us comfortable w/3 in the car and it performed flawlessly and drove like it was on a rail, Thanks Steer & Gear!!

Rolled into Freemont OH today about 4:30 CDT, 517 miles for the day.

Breakdown as follows.

First fuel stop, after a couple rest stops, at. Morris, IL

Miles 216 Fuel 16.652 gal. @ $2.89 + 12.97 MPG

2nd fuel stop at Freemont, IN. Also time for lunch

Miles 193 Fuel 16.987 gal.@$2.79 (BP Super) = 11.36 MPG

Total average MPG so far (409 Miles 12.158

Mostly interstate at 65-70 mph

Will fuel again in the morning before leaving Freemont.

Then with a couple short detours to Lodi and Medina, OH in the morning,

to look at truck campers it’s HAMMER DOWN in the Monfort Lane to A’town!!!
