Good question! If anyone knows what the stamping would be on a WARRANTY replacement 300F engine, please say so! Many, many years ago I was told that ANY factory replacement engine would be factory stamped with an ID number and the installing dealer would HAND STAMP the actual date of installation for warranty purposes. If, in fact, one has an engine stamped like that, it would have to be accepted as the real thing. I suppose, unless someone has facts to the contrary, that's how it is!!
