Hi Frank,

You have the right transmission. The casting number is not as important as the stamped serial number.

The transmission on my 300F has a Casting Number #1854220
The transmission has Part #1949808 on the pan rail which seems
to be correct to the car. 
The date on the transmission is 12-30-59

The problem is that I cannot find that Casting Number anywhere.
According to the Club website the casting number should be
#1941628.  Do I have the correct transmission for my car??
