Hi folks,
Question on the black anodized? aluminum? that is behind the crossbar chrome grill on a G grill: Is that unique to the G, or was it used anywhere else? I know the chrome crossbars were used on 62 New Yorker, and that the grill surround in 61 has letters embossed while the 62 does not, but I thought the 62 had a honeycomb/mesh type background and not the horizontal and vertical slats that the G has. Any info appreciated.
My collision book for 1961 doesn't show a listing for the grill for the RC-4 300G, only for the RC- 1, 2, 3 Newport and New Yorker.
Thanks,
