10-4 on that!! I had a PB unit rebuilt by BD for our F when we rebuilt it after the St Louis meet a few years back. Installed it in the fresh engine bay during the engine install. 60-61 brakes, w/the rams are a TOTAL PITA!! I messed with it for what seemed like forever, finally giving up and reinstalling the original unit before I could get brakes, and it’s still in there today Meanwhile, the $$$ worth of re-built unit resides in it’s original shipping box, a doorstop! I agree with Rich , need a gap there that is co ordinated with the trigger gap at top . They tell you not to touch it , the settings -/but we know where that goes . This is another item that needs total clarification like the hood lock . Someone like Booster Dewey needs to write down exactly how it works and what the gaps do when right

And that the length can be adjusted by loosening a jam nut on a finely threaded rod. If jam nut loosened, the length could change enough to actuate and lock the brakes. Rich Barber How about the pushrod length adjustment can cause brakes to drag if it is adjusted to long brakes heat up and lock up.
Sent from my iPad I have experience a rubber hose failure where internal degradation creates a check valve effect that prevents the brake from releasing when the pedal is released. The age of rubber hoses is not measured in miles, it is measured in years. How long ago did you replace those hoses? They can look fine on the outside but still fail on the inside. A single hose failure would cause a problem only with the wheels controlled by the suspect hose, not all at once. This is just one possibility, you may have something else going on if all wheels or both fronts together lock up.

Are all four wheels locking up, or just the two rear, or one or both fronts? How old are three rubber hoses, one between the wheel cylinder and metal brake line on each front wheel and one between metal line of body and metal lines on the rear axle housing?

My brakes have absolutely seized up twice today, both times from about 25-30 mph. Luckily I didn't get rear ended. Seems like a booster issue as nothing binding in the pedal mechanism. First time stalled the car. Restarted and not locked. Second time I think I caught the side of pedal with my foot and it released. Both times gentle braking. The locked solid.
