Re: [Chrysler300] 300G Parts Wanted

Just today, I was looking for something else on the web page and saw in the "Stories" section the first 4 issues of the 300 Club News.
Might be of interest for special pages like you mention to be added there, or to the tech section. I Checked in the "Body or Sheet Metal" section.

I have almost all the publications since 1978 or so, do you have any idea what year or issue you wrote that?
Maybe I can find it and send it to RRRRobert to add to the site.

Hi Andy,

I have had that happen to me too…on George’s cam stuff. Maybe we need a list by cross filing each car year and problem/answer ----someone solved 25 years ago. I remember writing about the radios, how to fix what goes wrong. Must be loads of good stuff no one remembers except anecdotally, or in reading index file of ALL the old (excellent) pubs. . By car year, and subtitles /problems? Or something? Not instantly but long term thing?

Excellent point Andy..tend to forget details, once issue is resolved for you, ----but not for the next guy looking.

You guys need to read the club publications. Jan Fridberg in Sweden reproduced these and offered them to US club members. I dedicated an entire page of the News-Flite to this. With photos.

It would be great to identify the actual van make/model/year to see if we can find any NOS/used in better shape than the dinged up units on our G cars. Is this a possible choice for a future club reproduction item? Seems like all G owners have this same problem to one extent or another. I'd certainly buy one for my car.

There is a dodge van that uses the same cross section molding, runs down the side of the van...I had that problem on a G long ago..they are all wrecked on most G . I wish I could remember more ..maybe 70’s 80’s van ; you can cut to length. Maybe it helps.

I am searching for the following for my 300G.

The long straight Stainless Steel trunk moulding. Its the upper moulding that runs from tail light to tail light. I would like to find one that is Dent FREE and Not Bent..

I also need the grille Horizontal Bars that are in excellent condition or ones that are not broken and pit-free that I can have re-chromed.

Please contact me with what you have.

Thanks and have a great day !!!
