Rich, ---Good logic find!!.. I have noticed many “chargers” we get today for I phone etc do not fit well in the old lighter sockets and the pin in middle can get to one side while putting in , and short out a “lighter” plug meant for a real cigarette lighter , not a power outlet ; it touches metal outer case of lighter socket and center , somehow, which is not really a center contact per se, it is sort of a gripper , grabs lighter edge , very near to the outer wall ---that is live right to its edge . I drive a 67 dart a lot , and 67 cuda, have blown lighter fuse in both more than once with this problem …” .. I tried to clean out garbage giving a poor contact on charger center pin once , with small screwdriver, blew fuse instantly .. Clue? LTR on the fuse box. That unswitched circuit also feeds the glove box light and the map lamp. Rich From: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tony Rinaldi awrdoc@xxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] Hi, Any idea where the red wire gets its 12V from. Antenna works when powered otherwise. Wiring diagram does not show source. All fuses are good.
