Reviewing the e-Bay posting, the engine serial number looks correct as 3NE561118. That engine number would represent the engine from a ’56 Chrysler 300 with a VIN of about 3N561094—a really early car (#94+/-). Without the 3, the engine would be from a very early ’56 New Yorker. Knowing the VIN of the car it came out of would be an added validation. We like to keep track of the cars, also. The rarity of the engine makes doing a little research worthwhile. I’d want a photo of the engine serial number. Please keep us posted. 18 bids so far to $4,250. Delta-wing air cleaner included. Five days to go. Brentwood, CA From: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of cattroop7@xxxxxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] The seller claims that the part number is NE561118. I sent a message asking why the engine was removed from the vehicle eight years ago as he claims. I'll fill y'all in as I hear. __._,_.___ Posted by: "Rich Barber" <c300@xxxxxxx> To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/all/manage/edit For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang __,_._,___ |
